This fight could be the beginning of the end of Hill's career: He comes from a brutal KO loss against Poatan and will fight in 2 and a half months against a Strong Muay Thai KO Artist like Khalil. It’s a striker against striker match-up (Again) and it will be very difficult to see anyone trying to take the fight to the ground, therefore it will be very devastating for Hill if he is knocked out again and his chin ends up being ruined for the rest of his career.

I think a lot of people are overrating Khalil due to his "Muay Thai" heavy stance. Khalil has fought nothing but cans in his career, Modestas, Roberson, and Daukaus. He went to the 3rd round with a short-noticed Anthony Smith. This dude also tends to not kick at the legs that much despite him being Mr. Muay Thai. Rountree lost to Prachnio... MARCIN PRACHNIO! Adding on, he robbed Jacoby of a clear win. This man got TKO'ed by Cutelaba, not bad but still. He got flatlined by Walker. He's also not a one-punch wonder type of dude, he will have to hit you more than once to hurt you. He swings like a goddamn madman and he's a glass cannon. Hill is coming off a damn good loss to Alex, while Khalil is coming off of his greatest win, Anthony ******* Smith. Everyone's hating on Hill simply because he wanted to sell 300. Hill has fought way better fighters than Khalil. He's got great cardio and good punching power. I get it, he's coming off a KO loss to Alex but it wasn't very bad. Hill got up a second after getting flatlined, and he didn't look lost. Sure, 2 months is kind of bad for you, but it was Khalil or Jiri and Hill chose the smartest bet, lol. Hill is going to come back hella hungry for being clowned at. He's going to be much more aggressive in this fight and he's going to catch "Mr. Muay Thai" at the 2-minute mark of the 1st round. I agree with almost everything you said (I think it will take at least 2 rounds). Yes, it's a little early to come back after a KO loss but like you said it was not a horrible KO where he was unconcious in the ground for minutes. Alex was KOed much worse by Izzy and he came back with a win a division up agaisnt Jan as an exemple.

I also just can't put faith on Rountree when he took 3 rounds to take care of Anthony Smith, he doesn't have the death touch to take Hill out quick and if Hill has time to settle in he will start to make reads on Roundtree and open up his striking. I belive Hill is the better fighter. 

That's not to say Rountree has no chance, it will depend on Hill's mentality in this fight. 

Let's get Kamaru Usman vs. Geoff Neal on this card

Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler is maybe the least interested I've been in a "big" fight ever. Zero stakes. A guy approaching 40 who has just wasted two years of his (arguable) prime to fight.... a guy who hasn't won a fight that mattered in 8 ******* years. Insane. I do not care. 

Chandler wins? Cool, he beat a guy who hasn't done much of anything in almost a decade and is still clinging to relevance because of stuff he did 10 years ago. McGregor somehow wins? Cool, he beat LWs #4 gatekeeper and will probably not fight again for another 4+ years. Who gives a ****. 


Swanson vs. Fili is good. I like it a lot. I'm game for all Cub Swanson fights, and he and Fili could be fireworks. Jamahal Hill should not be fighting in June after just getting KO'd. I don't care if he claims he "took no damage," he did and this is a terrible move on his part. I get what he's trying to do, I guess. But it will backfire tremendously when Rountree also stops him. I don't think Hill is much better than Rountree anywhere, but Rountree's cardio could let him down here like it has in the past. Rountree either KO's him violently or Hill puts on one of those signature boxing-lite performances and barely wins a decision. Hoping for the former, because it's always a good time seeing Jamahal Hill lose. 

Waterson should be a showcase for Robertson. Robertson is actually kind of good, Waterson hasn't been kind of good in a very long time. Also excited to see Rei Tsuruya. He's pretty fun.

exactly, I’m not underwriting Rountree, he definitely has a chance depending on the Hill that shows up but his chances of winning aren’t as high as others expect, just take a look at the man’s resume, it isn’t the greatest

I doubt it will be, the ufc loves conor. They´ll try to give him the best card possible.  or maybe they just say **** it and hope he sells the entire card for them. Really have no idea if hes even the main event yet either

he’s 100% main event, the ufc usually half ass Conor under cards because it’s gonna sell well either way. Cub vs fili better not be main card tho that’d be terrible
